In the wake of the complete failure the Trump administration’s attempt to quickly achieve regime change in Iran, only a mere four years after the failed attempt to crush the Russian economy, it is time to call a spade a spade:
The era of unipolar hegemony is over for the American Empire.
Not only were the American imperialists unable to knock out the weakened nuclear power, they have since been locked in a bloody proxy war in Ukraine, showing that overpriced military hardware is no match for mass produced drones that have come to define this era of modern warfare.
It is now apparent with Iran, despite psyops and high profile assassinations, the American imperialists are at the mercy of a middle power who is ready to cut the world’s supply to cheap oil from the Middle East, the foundation of the crumbling economy of the American Empire, if it means the world will wake up to their plight after being under siege for decades.
It is time we realize that we don’t have to go down with the ship, especially for a world order that left Canada’s fate in the hands of Washington and London, that left Canada to be a side character in our story.
Prime Minister Wilfred Laurier once said that if the 19th century was the American century that the 20th century would be the Canadian one. In hindsight, this statement could be laughable, but if the proper steps are taken, this could be true for the 21st century.
Even MAGA influencers, such as Tucker Carlson, are seeing in the wake of the America’s retreat from global domination how the geostrategic importance of their resource-rich North American neighbour is going to rise substantially:
What about Canada and Mexico?
Canada has far more oil than the United States, far more fresh water than the United States. Canada has the fourth biggest oil reserves in the world.
Our most critical ally on the globe is Canada, the country we ignore.
Going forward, as American influence recedes to our hemisphere, what happens in Canada matters more than anything else.
Maybe we should try to exert some influence on Canada?
Not necessarily by force, but by force, if necessary.
You could certainly make the regime change argument about Canada…Canada is not a sovereign country, it never has been ever, it’s part of the British Commonwealth, it’s never been sovereign, and there’s no reason it should be.”
— Tucker Carlson on the Tucker Carlson Show episode “Trump Announces the End of Global American Empire. Here’s What Comes Next.”
Whether we benefit from this or we are subjugated as a country depends entirely on our ability to take our destiny into our own hands in Canada.
In the age of multipolarity and deepening divisions within American society, it’s critical that we use the reminder that the “Donroe Doctrine” presents of why Canada came to be a distinct nation apart from America to foster the national unity needed for us to stand in solidarity in the face of adversity.
Like many people in Canada, we are disgusted with the cruel acts of the Trump administration against its own citizens in the name of “nativism” through the raids by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). This should be an additional reminder of the importance of maintaining our national sovereignty which has been routinely undermined.
We are also disgusted with the indiscriminate bombings against the people of Iran. This regime change war has also turned off the intellectual influencers of the American Right who truly think independently, such as Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens, standing out as having more integrity and standing up for the rights of the innocents, all while our own Prime Minister from the Liberal Party and the leader of the opposition from the Conservative Party have both spent the last year fear mongering about the Islamic republic.
As political unity disintegrates in the United States of America, the hypocritical anti-human political classes have been utterly exposed where even the anti-establishment candidates from the 2016 presidential election have been shown to just be puppets of the same “Epstein class.” It is critical that we remember Trump is a mere symptom of a corrupt system and that if we want to keep our ways of life and our legacy of responsible government, we have to stay vigilant no matter who is in the White House.
With the current continental and domestic political landscape, what has ended our status as dissidents at home, due to our ideological exploration of “what it is to be Canadian” being shown to be ahead of its time, is having a more restrained centrist administration in office with the Prime Minister bringing the governing Liberal Party back to a more moderate position on culture, embracing a form of left-wing nationalism, and acknowledging the geopolitical realities of the emerging multipolar world. This has overall been a net positive for us, seeing many of the points we have been saying for years now accepted as part of the mainstream political discourse in Canada.
While there is still no party at the federal level that deserves our full support as Canadian Republicans, we can admit that the current administration under Mark Carney is doing a relatively better job of upholding our sovereignty than the previous administration under Justin Trudeau. While the Prime Minister may be weak on certain issues, he has given a renewed focus on our sovereignty which has made him decently popular in Canada.
The primary issue our faction has with the current administration is around their flawed foreign policy which still allocates significant resources towards the rivalries between the dying order of the American-led Western Bloc and foreign powers — such as many BRICS+ countries — who are fighting the same encirclement which could be used against us tomorrow.
Where our emerging faction must start to distinguish ourselves is as Canadian patriots who are prepared to go further on Canadian sovereignty than the current administration, while still lending critical support on issues that will benefit the country, and taking on the issues where the current parties are lacking in meeting the needs of the people in Canada.
For Canada to truly have a fighting chance, we need to live up to our international reputation as an accepting country where anyone can build a life for themselves and their family, provided the have a desire to integrate into our society. This will win us the sympathy of the broader international community during times of great uncertainty in North America.
With our smaller size at the moment, and our historic position in both the British Commonwealth and the Francophonie, we can leverage these former colonial ties in a post-colonial world to form an independent foreign policy that will boost our economic opportunities, labour power, intellectual capital, and international significance to make ourselves essential to our new allies also in a way which is not directly threatening in America.
We do not want to repeat the experience of Ukraine who have no status within the European community yet are being used for their foreign policy objectives in relation to Russia. Rather we want to integrate ourselves into the broader international community how Poland integrated themselves into the European community while the Soviet-led Eastern Bloc disintegrated. We have to become too important to touch through the shared ties from our international diplomacy and our diverse population.
In the emerging multipolar world, we need to deal with the entirety of the Anglophone and Francophone worlds, not just the “white” ones, but including the Global South and East, to maximize our international standing going beyond the geopolitical paradigms of the 20th century.
As America recoils from hitting a wall in its foreign policy objectives abroad, leading to the populist MAGA movement collapsing, we are left beside a dying empire, but we do not have to meet the same fate here in Canada.
Throughout history, new civilizations have been formed in the borderlands of established powers, particularly ones that are built on attracting the best and the brightest, and by building on their respective past civilizational lineages.
By adapting the past civilizations they take on new life sublated through the up-and-coming power centers who standout in new geopolitical realities — from the Roman Empire coming out of the Greek and Etruscan civilization; to Britain coming out of the Catholic, Germanic, and Celtic civilization; to the Russians Empire coming out of Greek Orthodox and Slavic civilization — what will happen to Canada is up in the air and really in our hands as people looking to become players in the great game of historical progress.
We stand on the shoulders of giants with the three civilization roots of the British, French, and Indigenous peoples of foundational Canada along with the added bonus of the ability to integrate diverse cultures from around the globe through our multi-layered outlook of a Canadian civilization.
We have a large difficult task ahead of us, to reverse the brain drain caused by the Trudeau administration. But we believe this is possible by taking back our power, consolidating our country’s cutting edge thinkers, and forming our own institutions, starting with a think tank to promote our sovereignty.
We have the world to gain by finally taking hold of our destiny, pushing for the full deal instead of half measures which define the current establishment. Because at the end of the day, even the MAGA influencers acknowledge that Canada will define the future of North America.
The 21st century has the potential to be one that is truly ours.
