America is different from any other country when it comes to foreign affairs.
As Kissinger said: America is the superpower that can severely screw up the relationship they have with another country, and that country will have to forgive them in the end, because they’re a superpower.
I call this “the Levithan effect”.
In our current global trade order, America dominates world trades, America dominates the technological field, America dominates global finances, America also controls the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
You can’t do anything without America. America is this massive entity that a country simply can’t bypass.
Canada had a relatively positive attitude towards most countries, however unfortunately we fell into the American trap of ideological zealousness.
We are so obsessed with ideological-oriented diplomacy that we have failed to establish healthy long term relationships with so-called enemies of the “Free World,” that of which being Russia, China, and, even India. Most of them being BRICS countries who are part of the alternative world economy.
We should not follow the American Empire attempting to interfere in the domestic politics of these countries because these are massive economies with strong potential to be trading partners. They have giant buying power, labour power, natural resources, and industrial technology. We Canadians are giving up on lots of economical potential by being on bad terms with them.
Americans being the hypocrites they are, they extract gasoline from crude oil bought from the Russian Federation, then they sell to the rest of the world! America also still buys rockets, metallic material from Russia; they engage in all kinds of key strategic trade with Russia, but somehow, we’re banned from doing all businesses with Russia.
America still does a lot of business with the People’s Republic of China, but for some reason, under the Trudeau Administration, just because America said that China was “undemocratic,” Canada dropped off its healthy trade relationship with China.
America does this geopolitical move where they push allies away from enemies — trade partners that America itself has — so they can be the exclusive trade partner of these countries. They lie to you, America lies constantly to all of their allies, since that’s how they maintain hegemonic control of the global economy.
If there’s the only way you can trade with China, if every product you buy from China needs to be imported from America, they are essentially making free money from intermediary trade.
If America can just import Russian natural resources, like sulfur, and then they export it to Canada for agriculture, then why don’t we just import directly from Russia?
That’s what Canada have done before and kept our agricultural industry health and strong. However all of a sudden everything’s so ideologicalized, we can’t engage in health global trade as we did before.
This American geopolitical strategy that unfortunately Canada has fell for in the past decades. We are weakened, our country’s economy bared an unnecessary burden, all for ideological vanity.
The American Empire being a mere vessel of global capital carries on the oceanic legacy of the British Empire, whereas Canada carries on something much better, the ethnic spirit of the peoples from the British Isles (and also France), as Canada has kept its civilizational roots very well intact, as something more continental.
America is like this massive Leviathan in the ocean.
For example, big oceanic creatures, like the whale, eats tons of little krill shrimps, this significantly impacts the ecosystem with every meal it takes in, and every single time it digests and defecates the remain, the whale significantly impacts the ecosystem again. When the whale finally dies, it then greatly impacts the ecosystem again.
The whale itself through its massive size can easily shape its surroundings almost to its own will.
A Leviathan does this on a much greater scale.
Whenever the Leviathan feasts there’s no surviving for the small fishes in the ocean— when America drives up the interest rate, all the capital flows back to America, the Leviathan combines the interest rate with a stock bubble or a conceptual bubble, (like AI or the 2008 housing crisis) — all of the capital from the world goes flowing into America like little sea creatures being consumed by the Levithan.
Which then leads to a lack of investments in countries that suffers from this brain drain, causing an overall economical recession, which is what we’re seeing in Canada right now.
When countries adopt so-called “free market capitalism” they have no defensive mechanism against this feast of the Leviathan. The Leviathan not only swallows your fluid capital, all domestic capital gets gobbled up via hostile takeovers by the American hedge funds.
Unfortunately, this has been the case for Canada in the 20 years.
As America ate up our industries, our self determination dies and we become tied into the American Leviathan’s “economic ecosystem”, we become reliant on the Leviathan’s feces, so we’re kind of shit eaters, in a sense.
America gives us all their worst industries, extracting our resources, buying our land, then forcing us to pay high rent on our own land, they drove up the housing prices, our domestic industries are gutted, state owned corporation liquidized, and by then end of it we’re just forced to eat shit from the Leviathan.
We are its little follower behind it. Whatever scrap that gets digested through its body that doesn’t want, we pick it up. America exports the worst jobs to its allies, to keep them loyal, while systemically destroying their economic self determination. They take away development potential from it’s allies like the tech sector, then returns them with horrible labour-intensive low profit industries, industries that yields almost nothing.
It’s unfortunate, but this is the state with all American-aligned countries.
SHIT EATERS.
The American Empire hollows out a country from the inside, they give you a lot of financial investment, graft you to their global economy, and then slowly drain you dry. This has always been the strategy Americans use to take over its own allies, making them economic neo-colonies.
For example, in Vancouver, we make a lot of films for the Americans. They export filmmaking which supposedly raises the city up, but at the same time, this destroys the original industries that Vancouver was reliant on, for example woodwork and fishing.
They buy up the stocks. They kill your ability for self-determination. You have no other choice but to become a vassal state of the American Empire.
Before when the Leviathan was healthy and strong, keeping everything else in the ocean obedient, following it around may not seem like a bad idea, but now the Leviathan only eats, it doesn't provide anymore.
The Leviathan is breaking the ecosystem because the America itself is having an internal crisis of its economy where it has to eat more of its former geopolitical allies in order to sustain the system of Pax Americana.
The Liberal Party is still very submissive to the American Empire.
If anyone reading has an annoying girlfriend, this is how flirting works, she’ll purposely play on and off with you, cold and hot.
She plays cold with you, forcing you to pay more attention to her. And when you start getting tired of this trend, she’ll play hot with you again. She’ll get flirty with you again. Some go as extreme as to flirting with other men just to gain your attention.
This is why Carney decided to flirt with China all of a sudden, but this is not to actually create anything new. This is just a notice to get the attention of the American Empire, like the obnoxious girlfriend, right?
We shouldn’t be playing poker to get back at the table of the Americans.
In poker, professional games, players with higher capital are more likely to win just because of the big number law. Countries with more starting capital are more likely to win if everyone playing on a similar skill level.
America has all the capital in the world, literally, and we don’t. There is no winning the game of poker against the American Leviathan.
They act and we react. We never act. Our government, all of its policies are a reactionary action towards whatever action America is doing right now.
The Carney Administration still hopes to restore what the past relationship was with America, instead of creating a new republic for Canada based on new trade routes, new trade partners, and new geopolitical relationships.
We have been submissive, again, to the Leviathan. We are falling behind, but eating its shit, unironically. Carney is just trying to threaten the Leviathan by saying, “oh, we’re not going to eat your shit anymore.”
This pseudo-multipolar attempt alone is not going to fix anything without domestic action. We should make plans for our long term economic stability, self-sustainability, and self-determination in case of an oncoming storm that might rob our country dry.
If the Prime Minister is serious about making us an independent country, he would get behind rebuilding the industries of Canada, such as fishing and logging, and restoring our nationalized assets, such as Petro Canada, that have since been purchased by American capital.
In the end, the Carney Administration don’t have the executive power to build self-determination, and will still be reliant on the American Empire.
